Alli Marshall

I am inspired by the colours and wildness of Cornish fauna and coastline. I paint coastal landscapes using layers of gum resist and permanent inks which sometimes produce unexpected results. Having spent a number of years developing the technique I feel more confident opening my studio to allow visitors to browse and discuss my work. 'Gum and Ink' is a loose technique that also requires quite precise planning of colour depth and layer arrangement which challenges me daily.
