We are open 11am - 5pm; 23-25 May and 29-31 May. If you would like to visit outside of these hours please contact me.
Over this past year I have been studying the ancient art of Celtic knot work. Intrigued by these intricate and playful designs I have explored different ways to reproduce them with textiles, and have begun to create my own designs. With their endless weaving in and out they are meditative; bringing about peace and contentment. Blankets to brooches available.
I have recreated a labyrinth in our garden that you are invited to walk, and there is also a living willow space and a yurt that you are welcome to sit and spend time in.
Also on display are Charlie's hand felted sculptural pots and other work responding to social and environmental issues.

This year we have 3 artists at Kookaburra Studios: Renowned Landscape Artist - Paul Lewin with his beautiful cliff and seascapes of West Penwith in oils and mixed media.
We also have basket maker Lin Lovekin joining us with her stunning asymetric, Catalan and French basket designs: shoppers, trugs, log baskets, vases, platters and kitchen utensil baskets.
The studios are set in beautiful surroundings close to some of the best beaches in Cornwall. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno Museum are close by.
