I have been a practising artist since 2012 and am based at Trewidden studios, I am a painter whose practice moves fluidly between the figurative and the imaginative landscape. My work explores the spaces where observation meets invention, where the familiar forms of the natural world transform into something more symbolic, lyrical and dreamlike.
Animals and flowers appear again & again throughout my paintings not simply as subjects but as recurring motifs that carry mood, narrative and emotional resonance. These elements act as guides through the landscape, inviting the viewer into intimate, often quietly surreal environments.

This studio is open days: 23-31 May 2026.
The studios at Trewidden are surrounded by wonderful gardens which are open to the public. There is also a very good cafe that serves breakfasts, lunches, cream teas and snacks from 10-4....
My studio is up some stone steps but very happy to bring artworks down to the parking area just below the studio!
