I work in a home studio in Mawnan Smith making wheel thrown or sculpted stoneware pieces. They are often functional, are very often decorative and are ideally both. My work is typically inspired by the natural environment. It is often figurative (scraffito plates, animal scultures), but I also enjoy the largely unpredictable effects achieved by layering reactive glazes on simple forms.

Studio information
From Mawnan Smith take Grove Hill toward the Budock Vean Hotel. Pass Trebah and Glendurgan before following the round to the right. After approx. 100 metres turn left into The Fairway (the last turning before the hotel entrance). We're the last bungalow on the right and the studio is in the rear garden.
