Jo Penn

Jo takes her inspiration from the natural world to form functional and tactile ceramics. Her background in garden design has influenced her journey into ceramics, resulting in a range of pottery that embodies her love of plants.

Working from her garden studio, Jo hand builds all her ceramics using a variety of stoneware clays to construct pieces that are durable and practical. She uses flowers and leaves to add surface texture onto the clay and she decorates her ceramics with coloured slips and glazes.
