days:
I am a landscape and seascape artist nestled in the heart of the Lizard Peninsula, surround by the natural beauty of the Cornish coast and countryside.
My work is rooted in the belief that nature holds a quiet language that softens the mind and steadies the heart. My paintings often begin with small observed details while walking country lanes, beaches and footpaths, such as water seeping from hedgerows or stones in the path.
Working from my home studio, these moments are allowed to expand intuitively: trickles become waterfalls, puddles evolve into lakes or rivers, and rocks and hills transform into mountains. Water appears often in my work, reflecting both movement and emotion, while mountains suggest strength, wisdom, and grounding. Through the interplay of dark and light, I aim to create artwork that offers presence, balance, and emotional clarity.
Creating art is my way of slowing down, reflecting, and honouring the natural world. I hope my work offers a sense of peace, connection, and quiet joy to those who encounter it, and I look forward to welcoming you to my studio.
