Robin

My inspiration is the creation of a wide range of exciting and unusual work, experimenting with a variety of materials and construction techniques. My passion is to create abstract sculpture. The wall hung work introduces a unique 3D element to an abstract painting, producing shadows and reflections as part of the work. Freestanding pieces range from a 9 metre high abstracted figure running over a field to celebrate the 2012 olympics, to a classical (non abstract) figurative life size fairy from Midsummer Nights Dream. Smaller pieces for room or garden vary from superimposed abstract shapes to pieces inspired by enhancing features found in natural materials.
