Paintings, Prints and Art Cards
Cornish artist, Jenni Hosen, grew up as a Hayle girl but has lived and worked in Truro for over 30 years. Jenni only took up art shortly before retiring from work and initially used her new found skills to sell paintings, prints and cards to help raise money for local charities during the pandemic, in particular for Cornwall Hospices Care. She started off with sketching, watercolour and pen, then gradually moved onto acrylics and oils and enjoys experimenting with all types of media. She has gone on to create her own website, and now regularly takes commissions and sells a range of art cards also on Etsy.
Although she’ll have a go at painting any subject, including portraits, Jenni's heart lies in the power of the sea, stunning Cornish sunsets, local landscapes, wildlife and the general beauty of light in nature.

Although the address is 12 The Leas, Truro, our gate entrance actually sits on Midway Drive. The sat nav for TR1 1NJ brings you straight here, but if you don't have that facility, then we are directly opposite No 44 Midway Drive.
From Tregolls Road, heading East out of Truro, pass by the Alverton Hotel and turn left at the next traffic lights into Trevithick Road, then take second right into Upland Crescent and first right into Midway Drive. Proceed along then into an S bend. The gate (and big blue fence) for No 12 The Leas is on the right, directly opposite No 44 Midway Drive.
Free 'estate road' parking available in Midway Drive wherever you can find a space.
We have a sloping brick path down towards the bungalow with two steps down at the bottom. The path then leads around the back of the property with another one step up into the studio itself.
