I was born in Leicester and moved to Cornwall in 2008, settling in the historic and picturesque town of Marazion, which overlooks St Michaels Mount.
Like my father and two of my sisters I have always enjoyed the arts, and began to paint more seriously after the move here to Cornwall. I mainly paint in acrylics, sometimes oils, usually in mixed media and apply the paint with brush and palette knife, plus various tools. Very often I paint the beautiful scenery here particularly the wonderful Cornish coastline, but also still life.
