My restless creativity drives me to use a variety of media so you if you look at my work you will notice I often use different media, styles and finishes. Sometimes I’ll use collage with machine stitching, sometimes watercolour or I might concentrate on acrylics for a while. Sometimes I might mix collage, ink and charcoal or spend days drawing or doodling until my attention turns to something else. I paint, draw and print on different backgrounds too. I am happy to experiment with whatever comes to hand.

I often think I might find a style that suits me, but then I feel my work is becoming formulaic so I switch to using a different media. I think the reason for this is that I need to feel excited by what I’m using and the endless possibilities it offers.
