Jane Ansell

I am drawn to make work that captures a fleeting moment, the shadow of a plant, birds in a field or weather systems sweeping in from the Atlantic sea. Nature is a common thread throughout the work and is influenced by daily walks through the fields and coastal paths of the far west reaches of Cornwall. Plants and birds that feature often hold a personal connection, or memory to a specific place.
