Catherine Lucktaylor is a ceramic artist whose hand-formed Raku ceramics blend the vibrant essence of her African heritage with the rugged beauty of Cornwall.

Working from her studio near St Buryan, Catherine creates colourful, one-of-a-kind ceramics using the ancient Raku technique. Alongside her ceramics and Raku Courses, Catherine offers Ancestral Lineage Healing 1-1 sessions, ancestral circles and retreats that bring together creativity, spirituality and ancestral connection.

To celebrate the last day of Open Studios you're invited to a Raku demonstration on the final Sunday 31st May with kiln opening at 2pm.

This is an exclusive opportunity to spend the day with me in my large rural studio near Penzance, Cornwall. Learn the elements of Raku glazing and firing is this one day workshop. Bring your own small pots to glaze and fire.

From Penzance take the A30 towards Lands End. 

At Catchall turn left to St Buryan/Porthcurno/Minack Theatre.

Only a short way up the hill take the first left turn. There is a green sign:
‘Bolitho Estates, Bejowans Business Park’

Follow the track until you reach the car park on your right. Please park here.

Walk further on down the track, turn left and you will see the large blue double doors of the studio on the right
