I seek ways to communicate my emotional response to the environment and to those people whom I come across in life. Using a mix of media, this often translates into semi-abstract exploration of landscape, graphic presentation of the human figure and the adoption of recurrent collective motifs in my work.
Elemental influences of West Penwith can be strong and appear in my work in different ways. Generational connections and the nature of the human condition also feed my work.

My studio is situated in my home; a traditional Cornish farmhouse in a secluded farming hamlet, 3 miles west of Newlyn and close to Lamorna Pottery and cafe.
