Having spent most of her professional life as a human-rights, documentary film-maker, Gill now concentrates on her painting. She lives between Cornwall and Andalucia. Focussing on light and colour, she works in oils, acrylics and watercolours, often working in plein air. Striving to capture the beauty of her surroundings and the natural world, her work provides an antidote to her years making films on the injustice of life for so many people.
