I am a Cornish self-taught fine artist, specialising in pencil and pastel portraiture. My love of people, nature and art inform all of my work. I am fascinated by the details that make us each unique, and capturing a likeness on the page.
My work is a celebration of life through traditional, representational art. Ranging from charcoal sketches through to highly detailed studies.
I draw in pencil, coloured pencil and pastel, and sketch in charcoal, pencil, pen and watercolour.
I enjoy showcasing what is possible with the simplest and most accessible of tools, and sharing what I know with others. I will be demonstrating how I draw my portraits throughout Open Studios, and showcasing my gallery of fine art and sketchbooks.
Original art, prints and cards for sale, and commissions are welcomed.
National exhibitions include The Society of Women Artists and The Pastel Society.

Studio information
This studio is open days: 23-31 May 2026.
There is plenty of street parking available.
Well behaved dogs are welcomed, and dog treats and cuddles will be available.
The building is all level inside, with shallow steps and thresholds upon the approach. Wheelchair access may be possible, though the doorway is narrow so please contact me before visiting if you have any concerns.
