Rachel Kerry Designs

Wire Framed Textile Art, Jewellery, Fabric Journals and Homewares

I use mixed media, cyanotypes and textiles to create contemporary wire framed textile art. Each artwork is fragmented into smaller framed elements which together represent a place or an aspect of nature, inspired by the Cornish coast and countryside. All my other work is inspired by this.

My jewellery includes environmentally friendly recycled 925 sterling and fine silver, brass and copper, some of which I enamel. I enjoy creating simple pieces for everyday wear but my main focus is creating mini versions of my wire framed textile art, in contemporary jewellery form.

I also create handmade fabric journals with hand crafted signatures, which include mixed media and vintage pages. I create homewares including cushions and a range of my work on greeting cards. Please feel free to chat to me about bespoke pieces of any of my work, there's just something so special about a piece made just for you.

I'm so looking forward to meeting many of you at the magical Red Store for the Open Studios event, come and say hi!

Studio information

This studio is open days: 23-25 and 29-31 May 2026.

From Lostwithiel go onto Liddicoat Road/A390 towards Duke Street, turn right onto Cott Road then onto Lanwithan road and park in free carpark by Lerryn River Store. Journey time approx.7mins. The Red Store is approx. 100 mtrs along the river.

There are about 4 spaces next to the Red Store depending on availablity but it is very important to check tide times as at high tide, the road can get flooded and you'd need to remove your car before this happens. The free car park can also get flooded at high tide. Please check before parking.

The Red Store has 8 steps up into the main studio area but I'm happy to show photos of any work or bring individual pieces of work down to the pathway if steps aren't an option for you. Please email me on RachelKerryDesigns@icloud.com if you'd like to view but steps aren't an option.

Testimonials

Wire Framed Textile Art 'Just beautiful work and so original, made my day' Tamara

Jewellery 'I am so pleased with the earrings I have bought. Rachel is incredibly talented, she responded incredibly quickly to me and the earrings are beautiful. I would highly recommend buying from her, her items are simply stunning and my mum loves her gift!' Eithne

Wire Framed Textile Art 'I first saw Rachel’s work at the Makers fair on Penryn campus and instantly fell in love with her creations. In the end I opted for a mixed media and textile piece on wire…so beautifully created.

The one on display was not for sale but Rachel promised to make me one and send it to me which she did, keeping in touch throughout the process and making sure I was happy with the end result.

This piece is so original and beautifully made…. I love it!!!
Thank you Rachel  It will take pride of place at home and be admired by friends I’m sure' Nicky

Original Cyanotype Fabric Journal 'Absolutely love this sketchbook I got from Rachel Kerry Designs, all beautifully handmade with these gorgeous original cyanotypes on the front and back cover. It feels so nice to hold, I love it.

And then inside this beautiful pattern fabric and really great quality thick paper. I've been doing a few little sketches inside and then there's some different vellum paper inside as well.

Two signatures, it's really lovely to work in and this gorgeous recycled sari which wraps around the middle and keeps all together, I just love it.' Carla
