My Angel Tribe represent a community of people ... every one is unique. Although the form is similar for each piece, there are differences in the size, shape and pattern. They are created in white stoneware clay and painted with slip. Then using the scraffito technique, I draw repeated patterns inspired by stitches in fabric (Boro and Sashiko) and mark making on paper.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist expressing my creativity through clay, paint, collage, jewellery, photography, stitching, bookmaking, music and performance. I see a similarity and a connection between landscape and figure and often combine both in my artwork. My garden also inspires my creativity, as well as the labyrinth and pathways.
