Andrew Barrowman

Andrew Barrowman is an award wining landscape artist based in Cornwall. He is a full member of The Pastel Society and an associate of The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. He exhibits regularly in London with NEAC, Pastel Society and has recently had a drawing included in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize.
He works in a variety of media but favours oils, casein paints and charcoal. He works outdoors (en plein air) and from his studio at Krowji.
He is a prolific 'sketcher' and is out in all weathers at varying locations in Cornwall all year round. He also runs the 'Sketching Cornwall' sketch club which currently includes over 60 members!
He also has a very successful YouTube channel - Andrew Barrowman Art - where he shares his painting and drawing experiences in video.
'I love working outdoors. It plays a very important part of my creative process. Ideas are formed and creativity is stimulated'.
