Inspired by daily coastal walks along the Southwest Path my work focuses on strong brushstrokes and abstract shape. I aim to create richly toned land and seascapes to convey the wildness, beauty and dynamism of the stunning Cornish countryside in a contempory style.
My still life works are heavily influenced by the mid-century Cornwall based artists who found beauty in the simplicity of the everyday. There is a modernist feel created by the use of simple shapes and expressive strokes.

Turning off Mousehole Lane continue over the shallow ford and up a short hill. The property can be found on the left. Please note it is not a bungalow but a three story building.
The works are shown inside the house itself and not the studio.
