I work in my small garden studio which is entered from a path off Commercial Road. It's peacefully tucked away from the bustle of the harbour and is a haven where I can focus on the close up, observing birds, plants and insects in the garden. Previously much of my work has been inspired by literature and theatre as theatre is where I started my working life. And now I return to it in more playful forms.

Going up Commercial Road from the harbour and slightly above the Orange Cafe, there is an ope on the left. My studio is through a gate at the bottom of the ope, next door the the entrance to the Joel Gallery
