Gallery, workshop and sculpture garden situated in a quiet valley on the Lizard. My roots are in architectural stonework and my work is both large and small scale is placed around the garden and in the house. Purchases and commissions can be organized here or through one of the nationwide galleries that shows my work. Please feel free to bring your lunch and relax in and around the garden during the open studios week.

Studio information

This studio is open This studio is open on all 9 days of Cornwall Open Studios days: 23-31 May 2026.

The easiest route by far is via St. Keverne. After arriving in the square leave the village keeping the White Hart pub to your left. Go around the corner, down the hill and past the fire station. Continue on this road for about quarter of a mile until you come to a right angled right turn with a road branching directly ahead of you take the road ahead .... you will see an open studio poster here with an arrow. The road sign points to Newtown Manaccan and Tregowris. ..... Take this little road round a sharp left hand bend and descend doen the hill ....slowly. Ignore all propeties on the left until the hill levels out. The gallery is on the right hand side of the road and will be signed with the open studio logo.

The map has shown my studio the wrong side of the little stream from the bridge. So if driving from St.Keverne just travel fifty yards more to the the very bottom of the valley. I will make sure the signs are very visible to avoid any issues. The parking area takes about three cars at once so we just need a little organisation at busy times. There is a layby close by too but it is very unusual to have may vehicles at one time. The drive and pathways in the garde are gravel.

As I have mentioned please feel free to bring your lunch and hang around a while. I just want to say that I do not serve food here to avoid any confusion, but there is a kettle. There are two pubs in the village of St. Keverne and of course Roskillies for some good food ..... I would reccommend the ' Fat apples cafe' about a mile away for a hearty breakfast and amazing lunch but you should always book first as they are very popular. Check out their website.

Please feel free to call to arrange any out of hour visits if you cannot make within the set hours especially if you have something specific to discuss without distractions. Any large purchases will be delivered and installed by myself as arranged at a convinient pont.

Also, I am planning a skills 'clinic' sometime after open studios. The course will be spread over a week or so with the idea that you can pop in for a couple of days within that time and refine a skill or technique that you might be struggling with regarding stone specifically. I would need to discuss your specific requirments before booking the course.
