My creativity explores fragility. The processes I employ echo natural cycles, forces, chaos and interconnections.
Interweaving layers of painterly gesture, mark and line I aim to create imagery that tenderly conveys something other of the natural phenomena and landscapes that inspire.
I have no formal art training but exhibited regularly and in London, becoming established as an oil painter in Oxfordshire. Ceramics, textiles and collagraph printing are important adjuncts to my painting practice. I moved to Cornwall in 2023 and have recently joined the Lizard Artists at Trelowarren.

From Helston follow route towards St Keverne, turning left after Trelowarren Estate entrance. Turn right at Newtown St Martin. Fork left after Tregowris. Before Gillan turn right to Porthallow. First house on left.
