I am a lapsed writer, having published 22 books, including Bower Bird (YA novel) which was the Costa Book of the Year 2007.
a short film - a Snail's Broken Shell.

I have lived in St Ives since 1962 with time off for good behaviour.

my paintings have been exhibited in the Penwith Gallery, the Mariners Gallery, Bob Devereaux's Salthouse Galleryetc. I was one of Sarah Frost's gallery artists at the Island Gallery. I am an Associate Artist at the Penwith and St Ives Society of Artists.
