Paintings using mixed media, acrylic and oil.
My Paintings focus on the landscape of South West Cornwall and in particular the rugged landscape of West Penwith. I'm inspired by the ancient granite geology shaped by the elements. Farm buildings clinging to rocky cliffs or a lane cutting deep through gorse and bracken. The wild open skies are addictive and draw me in.
Using a range of mediums I often work straignt onto board or canvas. Drawing forms the bones of my work and I incoporate my marks by layering into the painting.

From the A 39 Falmouth bypass take the roundabout turn into Union Road then into Trescobeas Rd. Continue on the road and Mayfield Road can be found on the first left turn after Carick View Student Accommodation. Parking is available on the road.
