Woven Art
Discovering the process of weaving later in life, it has taken over my work. I look to explore the boundaries of the loom with multi-layered artworks, often woven in paper yarns. I am currently researching the links between woven textiles and story telling, sometimes with audience participation!
For a break, I also weave scarves and cushions, sampling different textures and patterns on the loom!
I have just finished a '365' challenge - weaving a piece of work every day for a year - these will all be on display at Open Studios.
