Painting and calligraphy
- Based in Stratton, North Cornwall in my home-garden studio, as a self taught painter this adventure has evolved over several years whilst still spending most of my professional life as a retail buyer and visual merchandiser for the family business at Wroes in Bude. I love to explore shapes, light and our connections with the naturally beautiful and inspiring local landscapes. My desire to experiment with colour, layering oils and capturing moments of our coastline through the exquisite light found year round here in Cornwall. This always brings a relaxed happiness and energy as I delve into new challenges, following instinct rather than rules and learning to enjoy the experiment. I hope to introduce textural materials into my artwork in the future. Working in oils predominantly with some occasional watercolours you will find my airy studio a place to relax, always a tea or coffee available. Here you can see a range of originals and work in progress along with a selection of limited edition signed prints and greetings cards. I look forward to welcoming you to my 'sanctuary'.

A beautiful airy home -garden studio of Sanctuary in Stratton just 1.5miles from Bude. Tea and coffee available whilst you relax in the peaceful garden. You may be lucky if homemade bread is fresh from the oven. Enjoy taking in the relaxing atmosphere just minutes from the buzz of Bude with originals , prints and greetings cards available to buy and view.
