James Brown

I am a contemporary photographer interested in capturing hidden places and viewpoints. Growing up in Mawgan Porth I have always felt most at home in the sea. I am fascinated by the life that exists tantalisingly just below the surface of the Atlantic ocean that blesses the shores of our county. My passion is underwater photography, capturing key moments in my many diving and snorkelling adventures. My photographs are just that, ‘the moment’; what I saw whilst immersed in the experience. I am self taught and gain great inspiration from reading, listening and learning about our marine life and the underwater world.
