Working across both fine art and illustration, I love trying to capture people with paint or pencil, on canvas or in my sketchbook.
I am available for portrait commissions, working in oils on wooden panel or canvas, and love working from life when possible.
In 2025, my mono-print self portrait was selected for the Royal Portrait Society's inaugural drawing prize - 'Revealing the Human'. I also took part in Sky Art's Portrait Artist of the Year, series 12, and was shortlisted on the day for my painting of Fatiha El-Ghorri.
Illustration is the side of my creative practice where I spend time with my imagination, drawing characters who make me smile and telling stories about friendship and the importance of adventures, no matter how small. I am represented by Gill McLay at Bath Literary Agency.
Free demos offered.
I will be doing two live portrait paintings - one on Saturday 23rd May and one on Sunday 31st May.
These will be in my studio at Krowji from around 11am - 1pm. You are welcome to pop in and see how it's going! The space is quite small, so please be aware of other visitors as you come and go :-)
I'll be using water-mixable oils (as they don't require any solvents), and painting a small head and shoulders study.
