Potting in Penryn
Ceramics
I make a wide range of functional, tactile pots for everyday living as well as more sculptural pieces.
The majority of my work is thrown on the wheel in my garden studio nestled in the historic town of Penryn. I use Doble's buff stoneware clay which is processed locally in St Agnes. Each pot is simple in form, often with a weathered aesthetic in how the glazes and oxides combine reflecting Cornwall's industrial coastal landscapes.
My designs blend seamlessly with both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Studio information
This studio is open days: 23-25 and 29-31 May 2026.
The studio is through the gate along a gravel path and through the arch. There are then two small steps up into the studio
Please keep the entrance gate closed as we have an elderly dog and the road is very busy.
Dogs are welcome on lead in the garden but not inside the studio.
Car parking can be found on commercial road Penryn however subject to availability and by PRIOR arrangement I can provide a permit for the church carpark opposite my house for your visit:
NB this car park is very busy on Sunday mornings
There is no parking in the church carpark park without a permit and could risk a fine!
