I am trying to capture the power of enduring love, beyond the transient nature of this physical existence, beyond the rawness of being…always.
I hope that the overriding essence of my work is to do with optimism, my main aim being to focus on all that is beautiful in this World. I do hope that my work is about something ‘other’ than itself, awkward balance and seemingly naive pictorial narrative always present, always linked.
I believe that buried deep within us all, we possess the primitive and inescapable character of a force of nature, and that art is a conduit for this raw state of being.
We are all part of the ever flowing whole.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of 'Cornwall Open Studios', huge gratitude and respect for Hazel and Jeremy's remarkable effort.
So many interesting conversations and a steady stream of visitors seen d to make time go very fast.
Alfie will once again be assisting me by being based in the garden studio, gaining experimental experience with clay and having lovely conversations with my lovely visitors. I am offering a 'Department' store experience, as I have an interest in vintage paraphernalia and am having a clear out. I also have a 'pick and mix' tile assemblage assortment set up in the garden. You can choose a collection of parts to make your own garden mosaics/shrines.
If I am in the middle of a 'tour' I might not hear the doorbell so I shall leave my phone number and have my mobile with me at all times so that I can welcome you into my home and place of work.
*I love dogs and children.
The pottery can be accessed from 'Five fields lane', which runs parallel to front entrance. This avoids granite steps and there is also a double parking space if mobility is an issue.
