Sean Hewitt paints vivid, dynamic abstracts in acrylic and oil based on an emotional response to music and the landscape around him. A former Academician with the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. He has lived and worked in Cornwall for over forty years in both Art Education as a painter , exhibiting throughout the South West and London.

His work is in collections in the USA, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria , Ireland and Wales. His vivid and vibrant work is based on music and the places and people he loves. His engaging work in both acrylic and oils are powerful and dramatic statements and he channels this energy as passionate teacher inspiring children and adults alike.
