Martyn Dempsey

My art is an extension of my surroundings—emotions and feelings shaped by the journey. I work with a range of mixed mediums on canvas, and I also create collage paper pieces. I love exploring new ideas, blending seascapes with wildflowers, then shifting into abstract forms, always pushing toward the perfect image. I’ve been painting full-time for over twenty-five years, and I still learn something new every time I pick up a brush. I’ve exhibited my work around the world and studied in Florence for three years. I was also honoured to be one of the contemporary artists at The Fornaciai Gallery in Florence.
