I produce a variety of multi media art works, using a lifelong interest in textiles to explore the possibilities of repourposing natural fabrics with care and purpose. Producing unique pieces of abstracted work, taking forgotten pieces of household linen and making it into new artwork.  Techniques used, stretching, dipping, painting, cutting, ripping, folding and using many years of knowledge of machine and hand stitching to create an individual style. 

Inspiration comes from a life lived in locations exotic, wild and challenging and on returning to Cornwall a reawakening of the inspirational gifts Cornwall has to offer. My work consequently is exploratory and unconventional but tells my story and I invite the viewer to ask  "Does this relate to my story?"
