Thomas Matthews

I am a Cornwall-based jewellery designer and maker, creating gold and silver jewellery from my studio at Krowji. After leaving the British Army and discovering jewellery making in 2015, what began as a passion quickly became my full-time practice.

My work is inspired by traditional jewellery-making methods and techniques, combined with modern technologies to enhance precision and design. I specialise in stone setting, wedding and engagement jewellery, working with high-quality gemstones and precious metals. Each piece is carefully handcrafted, with close attention to detail and finish.

Alongside my own work, I enjoy creating bespoke commissions, collaborating closely with clients to bring meaningful ideas to life. When not in the workshop, I draw inspiration from Cornwall’s rugged coastline, often found surfing or exploring the landscape that surrounds my work.
