I have used old broken copper water tanks to make beautiful copper panels to paint on. The story of the coppers past life still preserved, but added to with layer upon layer of gloriously rich intensly coloured oil paint. Once sanded back and waxed magical worlds appear.
In a world bombarded by opinions, judgements, statements and agendas, I purposely work with none of these things in mind. I wish only to make paintings that give you somewhere to rest for a little while.

Studio information
St Just Old Town Hall is quite easy to find, at the top of Nancherrow Hill and Just along from the well known Miners Chapel.
There is no designated onsite parking but plenty of on street parking outside and near by. There is also a free carpark a few hundred yards away on Market St. There are stairs on the way up to my studio. Toilet facilities are available.
