My practice moves between figure, form, water and landscape. Working in oil, gouache, charcoal and print, I explore contrasts, polarity, unity, flow and connectedness in the widest sense—light and dark, ordered and organic, simple and layered, convergence and divergence.
Cornwall—its land, waters and atmosphere—shapes both the tangible and the subtle, guiding process, energy, and the unfolding of self. The Cornish soil, water, air, and light connect me to place, nature and where the wild feminine and the elemental meet.
I am fed and inspired by my surroundings, coastal meanders, time spent on, in and around the water - soaking in the glassey ripples, the rush and rhythms of crashing waves, observing the ever-changing colours, tones and textures as natures energy steers all the senses. Refracting light, amplifying the sounds, sights, smells and textures that make us truly feel alive within the land.
In 2026 I am returning back to my practice full-time after pursuing a long career in the creative industries since graduating from the former Falmouth School of Art and The Surrey Institute of Art & Design.
